Ideal Age for Kids to Get First Smartphone

Frankly speaking there is no age for the usage of smartphones. Either it’s a kid or an old fella, smartphone is for both of them. There are numerous apps that have been developed for the smartphone users and the range begins from the age of 3. Precisely three years is not an ideal age for a kid to get a smartphone.

Average Age:

At an average, 20% children aging 10 years in age own a smartphone, while just after a year, on the 11^thbirthday, the percentage grows to 60%, adding 40% more kids that own a smartphone. Even though some studies have revealed that almost 35 – 40% of children aging between 2 years have used smartphone for the media player.
