Ideal Age for Kids to Get First Smartphone

Frankly speaking there is no age for the usage of smartphones. Either it’s a kid or an old fella, smartphone is for both of them. There are numerous apps that have been developed for the smartphone users and the range begins from the age of 3. Precisely three years is not an ideal age for a kid to get a smartphone.

Average Age:

At an average, 20% children aging 10 years in age own a smartphone, while just after a year, on the 11thbirthday, the percentage grows to 60%, adding 40% more kids that own a smartphone. Even though some studies have revealed that almost 35 – 40% of children aging between 2 years have used smartphone for the media player.
While 56% kids of 12 years, holds and controls all the features of the smartphone such as the calling, messaging, app installation, social media usage and much more.

Risk for Parents:

There are a number of risky things that take place for the parents, but the blasphemy is that they aren’t aware of all such happening. If they are aware of such acts, they don’t have any proof and authority to take control of situation.
  •   No parent would like their kid to be involved in the activities of Sex Texting “Sexting”, but still 15 – 20% kids aging between 13 – 18 years of age receive and 5 – 10% children send sext
  •   No parent would like to have their kid look into explicit content but still 45 – 50% children visit site prohibited by parents
  •  Kids are enthusiastic and love suspense and adventure, almost 50 – 55% children between the age of 10 – 18 years of age share risky, porn and heinous sharing over the social media pages
  •   No parent would love their child to be indulged in a road accident but still 40 – 50% children attend calls and text while driving, grief is that 25 – 30% cause accident while 10 – 15% of those accidents turn out to be deadliest

Concern of Parents:

Thus it remains the concern of parents that at what age should the children be allowed to use the smartphone. The debate prolonged at a number of venues. Some discussed it to be at the age of 10, some agreed with 11 while some said 12.
Though a teen of 18 years of age was punished by the court as he was offended for doing sexting, sexually harassing his girlfriend and sexually cyber – bullying her; the 18 won’t be the best age even.
The concern of the parents strengthens, as the children would keep on pry out getting a smartphone and the parents would stay worried.

Solution to the Problem:

Worry means to end it up, not to extend it up. Staying tensed and anxious just brings mental tiredness and exhaustion. So instead of getting tense, it’s better to find a solution as every problem has a solution.
Since children are not able to even properly sense what privacy should they include and what to omit and whom to add as a friend and whom to not. So a number of solutions could have been offered, all of them sticking to the parenting and ideal age of children and prohibition of usage, but those are mere a destruction of family peace.
The best of the solutions is only to get a spy app.

Spyware Technology:

Spyware application doesn’t mean that the parents will have to spy their kids. It means a parental control system, which allows the parents to hoop into the smartphone of their kid, disguised, and keep on monitoring and mending all the activities performed by his or her.
As talking about TheOneSpy, it allows the parents to hear all the calls of their children, read their messages, get into the social media accounts of their children and access the data stored on the phone. Apart from that it even allows the parents to get into the administrative rights of the phone and change the contacts and data of the phone.

Ideal Age for Kids:

Now when the parents have the right to everything held over the phone, so what should be the ideal age? Neither 11 nor 12, the ideal could be any in which the parents are able to monitor and mediate their children.
